I took this picture yesterday morning 26.03.11
Taken from the patio door.
And I hope the weather is going to get a bit better.
Having said that, there was sleet running down the windows
earlier tonight !

I know it is not the same thing but this reminds me of a trip to Isle Of Skye when I was living in the Highlands. Scotland is just wonderful. And its people too. :)

Yes it is, but it's a scene I have seen all my life, so I suppose I kinda take it for granted, bad me ;)

We are both the same! We live in Scotland and see it's natural beauty on a daily basis and - DO - take it for granted. But photography does train the eye to pick up on that - thank goodness!

Yes I agree with you. Working in a small museum, I get to meet tourists from all over the world, so I am constantly reminded on how nice a place we do live in ;)

If dA user are anything to go by, who are often gobsmacked with Scotland wonderful scenery, then you must have a field day with visitors. I am English by birth but live in Scotland over halk my life and love the place to bits.

Awww that's lovely. I love Shetland too, but having lived here forever, there are some days I long to see something different, for example a few trees ;)

This is the main reason I left Scotland after 2 years spent there. I wanted to hug some trees. :giggle: And get more sunshine for my girlfriend. :)
